What Summate does

Everything runs from the browser toolbar. Nothing is stored on our servers.

One-click summaries

Press the toolbar icon or Ctrl+Shift+S and get the gist of the page in seconds.

Brief / standard / detailed

Pick the depth you need for a skim or a full digest.

Follow-up Q&A

Ask questions about the page and keep the conversation context.

Bilingual summaries

Read the summary in English plus your own language.

History and export

Saved summaries with Markdown and Notion export.

RSS auto-summaries

Summate watches your feeds and summarizes new articles in the background.

How it works

Bring your own AI provider — Anthropic or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint.

  1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store and sign in to nothing — there is no Summate account.
  2. Open Settings, paste your own API key (or an Anthropic / OpenAI-compatible endpoint), and run a test.
  3. Click the icon or hit Ctrl+Shift+S on any page. Paid plans are unlocked with a license key sent to your email after purchase.
